No, but seriously, Whats the deal with Page Rank these days?  Unlike others in the 'sphere, i'm not trying to become authoritative on the latest technological craze, or useless buzzword, or soon-to-be-quaint business model... I just wanna be authoritative on my name, Chris Hollander.    When you type my name into any search engine, I want my blog to come up.  First.  Is that too much to ask?  As 2005 wound down, I wrote about how, in general, search engines suck.  Then, in January, I softened up a bit.  Now, I realize that maybe its not that search engines sucks, its that MSN spaces sucks- at least when page rank is concerned.

 

Also, a note to anyone who is thinking of switching their domain name: Don't.  Just don't do it.  I switched my domain name over a year ago (when i came to spaces), and as of today, my old domain still gets me more points on EgoSurf.  Luckily, the company I used to register the domain can redirect to my new site... So,the hundreds (dozens?) of sites out there that link Chris Hollander to http://objective.mine.nu are no longer broken... but my page rank still is. :(
